What sustainability means to us

The word “sustainable” has come to have many definitions, so we find that it’s important that we tell you our definition. 

For us, sustainability is about transparency and inclusivity. Every day is an opportunity to educate ourselves how to better support Mother Earth and the people on it. To be innovative, open minded, and thoughtful. To lead as an example, and prioritize those who are marginalized.

Sourcing

We support small, black, and POC owned farmers and suppliers with regenerative practices where possible. This one is always a work in progress, but if you or someone you know supplies quality herbs or oils, please reach out to us!

Packaging

Our product and shipping packaging is 100% recyclable and/or compostable. If you have accumulated a few face oil droppers, caps, and/or body butter caps, reach out to us at info@linearbeauty.com to return them and receive a discount on your next order.

Waste Management

Every decision we make in production, shipping, to the end of life of our products, we take into account the waste we produce and how to reduce that waste.

A majority of our waste is recyclable through municipal recycling facilities, we also compost!

Unfortunately, not all plastic or metal is municipally recyclable or reusable, so we use Terracycle boxes to divert our “non-recyclable” waste to be sorted, processed, and turned into raw material that can then be used to make new items.
